Inbound Logistics Awards Nexus with Top Logistics Designation
Inbound Logistics Magazine, a leading publication in the demand-driven logistics industry, has just named Nexus Distribution as among the Top 100 Third Party Logistics Providers for 2004.
“We’ve always considered customer service one of our key strengths,” says Nexus CEO Dean Hansen.
“It’s very affirming to know that our customers agree.”
The annual list, based on a survey of Inbound Logistics readers, remains the most definitive resource on third-party logistics and the outsourced logistics market.
The survey asks participants to nominate 3 logistics companies that they feel provide excellent service.
Almost 3,000 ballots were cast, nominating more than 300 companies for the list, making Nexus part of an elite group.
“That so many people voted for so many companies shows that the logistics industry is doing well overall,” Hansen explains. “We also see that Nexus’ impact on this industry has been substantial,” he says.
Nexus’ advanced online inventory technology and dedication to logistics and transportation fulfillment already set it apart. But its locations in Illinois, Georgia and Pennsylvania that allow the Nexus network to deliver almost anywhere east of the Mississippi River in a single day, place it in a league of its own. With the right technology and a steadfast commitment to customers, it’s no wonder Nexus is considered so highly.
“We appreciate this honor and will continue to do our best to serve our customers,” Hansen states energetically.
