Nexus Named a Top 100 3PL Provider by Inbound Logistics for 2008

For the fifth year in a row, Inbound Logistics Magazine names Nexus a Top 100 Third Party Logistics Provider.

Inbound Logistics just announced that Nexus has been named a Top 100 3PL provider for 2008, marking the fifth year that Nexus has received this honorable designation.

Felicia Stratton, Editor of Inbound Logistics affirms: “One hallmark of a Top 100 3PL is its ability to enable growth and innovation for its customers. 3PLs that act as business change agents drive customers to build business, attain visibility, reduce costs, and compete in a global economy. That is what Nexus does, and why we are pleased to recognize it as a 2008 Top 100 3PL.”

“Nexus can support our customers’ growth because we’ve managed our own for almost three decades,” explains Mark Ofenloch, Nexus COO. “We’re passionate about our customers’ marketing objectives. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a customer meet a profitability target or gain competitive differentiation because of a supply chain advantage we provided. Ultimately we bring our customers to market, the most cost effective and strategic way possible, and it’s a significant honor to be identified as one of the best companies in our field.”

Inbound Logistics' Top 100 3PL Provider's list serves as a qualitative assessment of service providers we feel are best equipped to meet and surpass readers’ evolving outsourcing needs. Distilling the Top 100 is never an easy task, and the process becomes increasingly difficult as more 3PLs enter the market and service providers from other functional areas develop value-added logistics capabilities.

Each year, Inbound Logistics editors select the best logistics solutions providers by carefully evaluating submitted information, conducting personal interviews and online research, and comparing that data to our readers’ burgeoning global supply chain and logistics challenges. IL editors selected this year's class of Top 100 3PLs from a pool of more than 300 companies. The service providers we selected are companies that, in the opinion of IL editors, offer the diverse operational capabilities and experience to meet readers' unique supply chain and logistics needs.
