Nexus Distribution is named a Top 100 logistics company for the 3rd year in a row.
Inbound Logistics Magazine, a leading publication in logistics industry, has included Nexus Distribution in its selection of Top 100 Third Party Logistics Providers for 2006. Nexus was selected out of a candidate pool of over 400 companies that specialize in outsourced logistics services. This is the third year in a row that Nexus has been recognized on the Top 100 list.
“It is an honor to be designated again this year,” states William Hansen, President of Nexus Distribution. “It’s a testament to our teams, to their work ethic and ability to adapt. We also have become the provider we are today because of our customers. Without our customers, obviously, we wouldn’t be here.”
With 26 years of industry experience, Nexus manages to stay on “top” by driving innovation and remaining active in the logistics community. In March 2006, it successfully launched a unique Chicago Land Bridge service offering, which enables shippers to realize significant savings for Midwest distribution strategies. Later this month, Nexus will serve on a panel at the International Warehouse Logistics Association’s Chicago annual seminar to discuss the current trends and demands of the outsourced logistics market today.
“We have put a great deal of emphasis on strategy alignment these past few years,” explains Mark Ofenloch, Nexus COO. “It’s rewarding to see that we’re on the Top 100 list again, because it tells us that we are focused on the things that really matter to companies that use third-party services.”
